Double icon when launching terminal from "open in > terminal" in Files

I've already the terminal set to be kept in dock.
When, in Files, I select inside a folder OPEN IN > TERMINAL another icon in the terminal will be opened instead than using the one already existing in the dock.

Addition: This bug only appears when no instance of terminal is currently running. If there is a terminal only ready running, OPEN IN > TERMINAL correctly spawns a new tab in running instance of terminal w/e duplicate icon in plank.

I can confirm that if you open a folder with right click, OPEN IN > FILES, the same behaviour is taking place and it opens a new icon in the dock. I have added the files project and even Plank to the projects affected as I am starting to feel that this can be an issue with Plank.
