Bug Description
When using the search feature, I am never able to generate any search results, and the program seems to endlessly try to search. The manifestation of which is a never ending loading wheel, and my cpu activity will ramp up slowly until reaching ~90% activity. I even gave it 15min to work itself out, but it never did, and all I did was search for the keyword in an email subject line that was showing in my inbox, ~2 from the top of the list.
I had this same issue with Geary, so it must just be a faulty process of some sort that has yet to get attention.
For reference I am running the latest bzr build on Archlinux from the AUR.

Thank you for the bug report.
Unfortunately I cannot reproduce this issue and so cannot confirm that the search feature is not working at all.
I installed the 'pantheon-mail-bzr' package on Arch linux and could use search. I tried different search terms and got the results almost immediately.
Then I tried the latest Mail from trunk in elementary OS loki which also worked as described above.
Is the issue still present?
In this case could you please add a comment and say what email account you use (gmail, yahoo, ...)?
