Bug Description

Binary package hint: korganizer

When trying to "edit" an event from within the reminder popup -- the edit button is ineffective (doesn't do anything). This has been a bug all through the feisty release as well.

Using 64-bit version of Kubuntu 7.10.

Does this bug still occur? If so what is the most recent version of Kubuntu/Korganiser that has the bug?

In particular have you had a chance to see if the bug still occurs in KDE4?

Sorry for all the questions, just following up on old bugs and seeing which ones still need attention.

OK having finally got my reminder to trigger under intrepid I can now confirm that this bug does still exist. As originally reported the edit button doesn't seem to do anything. I'll forward this upsteam.

The Edit button on the Calendar reminder box is unreponsive.

Steps to reproduce:
Open Kontact and choose Calendar component.
Create an event and set a reminder to pop up prior to the event.
When the reminder window pops up on screen click the edit button
Nothing happens.

I'm not sure what that button is supposed to do but currently no action occurs. That can't be right.

This bug was originally reported at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kdepim/+bug/155025 by another user. I have just confirmed it. I hope that is clear. If more information is required let me know.

The Edit button brings up the event configure Page. It seems that it is been fixed on svn trunk r865658.

This bug is now fixed in an up to date intrepid as of 16/10/2008. Clicking the edit button brings up the edit event dialogue as decribed in the upstream report

Bug is still present in Kontact 1.4.2 under Ubuntu Jaunty.
