I experienced it after an upgrade from Gutsy to Hardy

Experienced it when attempting to upgrade from Gutsy to Hardy. Upgrade partially failed with multiple problems.

Sorry but, as I said before, I can't reproduce it in 8.10 and I switched to this version some time ago.
