repeated closing of dash in pd will result in dash never returning

on mako pd, if you repeatedly close the dash, it seems that sometimes the dash will never restart.
reboot required for dash to return.

we please just make red 'x' a minimize for dash

There is also a qtmir issue here, repeatedly closing the dash before it draws its first frame results in the dash getting "lost" in application manager.

Please find unity8.log attached from when I triggered ↑ and then, in console, did:

As you can see, the dash was, in fact, running, restarting it didn't bring it back - it had to be stopped and launched again.
