Bug Description

Upon starting skype, it accesses various fonts, but goes into a loop upon reading

  /usr/share/fonts/opentype/noto/NotoSansCJK.ttc

Nevermind, it was intermittent.

The exact same thing is happening to me too.

The obvious workaround I've found is to remove the offending fonts-noto-cjk package.

Same thing happening to me after upgrading from 16.04.1 to 16.10.
