adep-manager offers upgrade to gutsy after upgrade already done

I've upgrade from Feisty to Gutsy through command line (do-release-upgrade), and after that every time i do a "Fetch updates" on Adept Manager it offers me the option to do a "Version Upgrade".
If i click the button the upgrade process begins but stops in the middle, saying my system is already up to date.

Its worth mentioning that, before doing a command line upgrade, i tried upgrading using the alternate cdrom using the command "kdesu /cdrom/cdromupgrade". But it hang when trying to install some perl related package (don't really remember which).

I think (thats just me) that maybe some "upgradeMissing" variable got set somewhere and the do-release-upgrade didn't set it back :)

I was already running the Kubuntu RC version of Gutsy, Updated to the official release yesterday but upgrade manager keeps telling me that a version upgrade is available. If I select Version Update it cancels at the Modifying Repo's option and tells me that there is nothing to update.

I am having the same problem, i was running the RC Gutsy, and ran version upgrade through adept. Now every time i update with adept-manager it says i can do a version upgrade, but it gets to the second step and says my system is already up to date.

I did the upgrade manually from 7.04 feisty fawn to 7.10 gutsy gibbon. Everything wenz fine here. After restarting the system the upgrade was offered again.

Executing it led into the same situation as explained by kevinl and/or error121, but in my case the upgrade was done from 7.04 feisty fawn instead of RC or beta of 7.10 gutsy gibbon.

I did a fresh gutsy install from the ISO CD-ROM. After the first upgrade, update-manager offers the distribution upgrade to me as well.
