Bug Description

With intel 855GM video, the screen flickers rapidly. Adjusting brightness, or refresh rate seems to have no effect.

The laptop is a Fujitsu p5020, just in case it is something specific to the laptop.

I'm having exactly the same issue: I have literally just done a fresh install of Gutsy on my P5020 and I am getting the screen flicker mentioned above. Any chance of reopening this? I will await a response before testing the package above, but in the meantime here are the attachments you requested from Brian.
