Hi,

Thanks for your bug report.
I looked at the sources tarball, and it seems to be licensed under GPL2+, and afaik depends on packages already in the archive, so this can't be added to Medibuntu, but this should be ok for Ubuntu.

There's a debian/ubuntu source package hidden in official TheLastRipper repository:
http://thelastripper.googlecode.com/svn/branches/Debian/

I'm official developer on TheLastRipepr and have build the current .deb packages for TheLastRipper that hosted on TheLastRipper.com and http://code.google.com/p/thelastripper

So far I haven't been able to make it comply completely with the debian packaging policy... I haven't got the time to make the package perfect right now, but if anyone wants to work with it I'll gladly assist... If not then maybe I'll find time to work with it some day...

The package will be automatically synced into lucid (Ubuntu 10.04). If you want to have the package in karmic, you need a FFe. In this case reopen the bug report and follow the freeze exception process: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/FreezeExceptionProcess#FeatureFreeze%20for%20new%20packages
