Bug Description
Hello,
This installation is Ubuntu 7.10 i386 desktop.
I use the MPlayer-plugin to play some video streams in the Firefox browser.
The video plays OK, but when I press RIGHT-MOUSE-BUTTON on the video window to see and change the settings, the menu is hugely wide and the menu selections are not visible.
See the picture: http://
It would be nice if the Mplayer just cut the URL to max 60 characters instead of 300 characters. There is no point to show the long line because it destroys the menu.
Visit the following URL if you want to try it: http://
I have installed Mplayer and other plugins via the Automatix GUI.
Sorry,
I forgot to mension that this happens if the Compiz is active.
Eg. If I activate the "Extra" effects in the Preferences-> Appearance menu, then the Mplayer-plugin's right-mouse menu is not visible at all.
When I set the apperance effects to "None" then the menu is visible but it's extremely large, wide. So the error remains.
