I'm a noobie to linux and ubuntu, so I have no idea how this will affect security. Also couldn't tell if this was a new problem or not. update stopped running at this point.

We are closing this report because from the log files, there's no evidence of what has been wrong, and gutsy has reached EOL. Don't hesitate to reopen if it's still an issue with a newer release.
