Bug Description
Providing input that contains special characters causes app to silently fail. Also, nonsensical input causes the app to fail. It would be nice if there was some precheck that ensures the user entered a valid number.
Reproduction Steps:
./money.py received $100
./money.py received 2asd23
etc..
