@miroslav
please add which device
does the app just show the startup screen with the spinning indicator?
if possible can you attach the log from
.cache/upstart/application-click-com.ubuntu.camera_camera_*.log where * is the version.

@miroslav, from the screenshot it seems that the access to the camera sensor has been denied to the camera app.

If it is still a problem for you can you:
- Close the camera app if it is open
- open system-settings
- go to security and privacy
- tap on Apps permissions
- tap on camera
- enable camera app in the list of authorized applications.
- close system settings and try to launch the camera app again

Tell us if it fixes your problem.

If it doesn't please attach the following files:
/home/phablet/.cache/upstart/cameraservice-trust-stored.log*
/home/phablet/.cache/upstart/application-click-com.ubuntu.camera_camera*

Thanks.

Thanks for the logs. The is nothing unusual.

Could you reproduce the problem, and attach all the content of /home/phablet/.cache/upstart/* , /var/log/syslog and the output of /system/bin/logcat (redirected to a file)

Could you also please enable adb, ulock the device and run the following command
adb shell "sqlite3 ./.local/share/CameraService/trust.db .dump" > /tmp/camera_trustdb.out

and attach the resulting file.

Finally could you connect to the device, close the camera app, and clear the QML cache with the command:
rm -Rf /home/phablet/.cache/QML/Apps/com.ubuntu.camera_camera_*

Then reboot the device and try the camera again.

Hi,
I sending you files:
/home/phablet/.cache/upstart/*
/var/log/syslog
/system/bin/logcat

"Could you also please enable adb, ulock the device and run the following command
adb shell "sqlite3 ./.local/share/CameraService/trust.db .dump" > /tmp/camera_trustdb.out" sorry, this I did not fix it

command: rm -Rf /home/phablet/.cache/QML/Apps/com.ubuntu.camera_camera_* is ok, but it did not help the camera is turned on. And attach file...

Thanks
