Bug Description
It is not obvious how to add a custom command to be started on login. Settings > Applications > Startup allows choosing from a list of already-installed apps. There is a textbox which, it seems, does actually allow adding a custom command! But it is not obvious that that's what the textbox actually _does_, and there is no way of setting a name/description for this custom command (it will always be listed as "Custom command" in the startup apps list).
