Posting a comment on merge proposal fails

Attempting to post a comment on

  https://code.launchpad.net/~benji/landscape/bug-1536360-timeout-for-google-analytics/+merge/283865

fails with an empty error dialog (just "OK" button).

It seems to be a JS error (see attached image), no network activity occurs on the press of a "Save comment".

Note that I succeeded in posting a comment by going directly to the https://code.launchpad.net/~benji/landscape/bug-1536360-timeout-for-google-analytics/+merge/283865/+comment page and submitting it (I was checking if that would produce an OOPS, but it didn't).

Note that I see the same issue, but think there's an extra clue to the puzzle which is a message about "Failed to fetch available diffs" - see attached screenshot

Note that the JS error I've seen in the console is shown already on loading the page, so Adam's clue is probably more useful for finding the root cause.
