No, not really.

Better than before, but some icons are still missing. I'll attach a screenshot.

Apologies if this isn't quite the same bug, but screenshot attached of what mine looks like on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, Kdenlive from stable PPA

Installed the package suggested, but no change

Seems my icons are "more missing", rolling my mouse under the preview window on the right highlights the buttons, but all invisible otherwise

Ignore last, fix for my issue here:

https://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=269&t=124095

Solution is:

sudo apt-get install kde-runtime

Not sure why that isn't pulled down as a dependency

So would it solve the problem to just add libqt5libqgtk2 and kde-runtime to kdenlive's dependencies?

Running kdenlive from the terminal shows that it is the theme oxygen that is missing, adding the oxygen5-icon-theme seems to resolve this issue.

The libqt5libqgtk2 and the full kde-runtime was not needed to installed.

Some issue with kubuntu 17.04, missing icons on combo "None/High quality", create Folder and Razor/Spacer buttons.

I need to install oxygen5 and breeze theme too, It seems kdenlive install left out this.

I have installed by terminal.

sudo apt-get install oxygen5-icon-theme
sudo apt-get install breeze-icon-theme

After installed both themes, issue resolved.
