Bug Description

Kubuntu 7.10 rc install CD (Live CD, not the alternative one) doesn't support LVM. I use LVM for my home directories and now I cannot access them from the LiveCD (I am writing this from the live cd while installing 7.10rc on hda). That is not too much of a problem since I will be able to access my LVM-ed home partitions as soon as the install finishes (i.e. soon), but it would be much nicer if lvm would have been supported out-of-the-box.

what package would you say is to blame for this? or is this just due to the selection of packages put on cd? because with no package assigned probably no developer will have a look at this...
