selection seems to favor points over lines

Bug Description

When selecting an object from a crowded sketch, drgeo seems to favor points and tends to neglect lines (including segments and circles). For example, please create a very small circle and then in selection mode try to select that circle. Very likely you are only given the option of choosing from two of the defining points but the circle itself is not given as an option. When you zoom in enough, the circle becomes selectable again.

I guess this has nothing to do with the environment, but just in case: I am running Dr. Geo 15.12a on lubuntu 15.04 x86_64 kernel 3.19.0-15-generic.

Indeed it is a feature, in an encumber sketch area with points and lines, Dr. Geo eases the selection by rejecting all but points.

To select a curve, the user need to move on the line where no point is found.
This implementation have limit when the line is reduced to a point: it becomes impossible to select directly the line, some points need to be moved out first.

Any suggestion?

I see. It seems to me more intuitive if Dr. Geo simply list everything for me to choose from. This may cause the list of choice to be longer, but I personally prefer a longer list rather than an incomplete list.

I understand, however listing all objects under the mouse does not solve the problem with crowded sketch: when a point is crossed by several lines, the user expects to select it by a single click on it.
So a modus operendi is still needed.
