Bug Description

Telegram should show in side stage on tablet, not in main stage.

Currently the incorrect behavior is it flips 90 degrees and shows in portrait, as that's the fixed orientation, but instead of using side stage, it goes full screen (and thus rotates 90).

I would prefer a choice. Having Telegram take the whole screen is a valid use case.

I agree Randal. This was a required hot-fix. I believe there's a separate bug that the app should have proper landscape mode.
