Bug Description
Apparently NBD has moved on and now uses a new protocol and support for the old protcol has been dropped. So I have a bunch of NBD servers that need porting to the new protocol. Doing some research I found nbdkit that should take care of most of the protocol thingies leaving me to just copy-paste the essential stuff of my NBD servers into an example framework... Great!
Turns out that all this was for nothing: nbdkit produces an OLD STYLE NBD server. Sigh.
The weird thing is that hte source seems to be aware of this as they call it old style header old style handshake and it has the define for a fixed newstyle handshake.
