Bug Description

EG ver. 2.9
Our libraries would like the ability to add to a selection list or a purchase order line item notes and /or alerts in batch, to all line items on the list or PO.

There are several use cases for this desired action but one example: a gift is given to the library for the purchase of materials. The purchase requires the addition of bookplate to each item and that the items, upon receipt, are fast-tracked through cataloging and processing. The Alert will indicate the fast track and the note the content of the bookplate. There are 25 items on the list. Currently each note and alert must be added to each line item individually. We would like the ability to add the note and alert to all items on the PO or selection list.

In forthcoming Sprint 4 of Angular Acq (bug 1942220), users will be able to batch apply notes to selected or all line items in a Selection List or Purchase Order.

However, alerts will still need to be applied per line item.

Marking confirmed for alerts, and editing title accordingly.

Confirmed in 3.11 that you can now batch apply notes to line items in a purchase order.

The ability to add alerts in batch is still a feature desired by our libraries.
