Bug Description

If that is relevant, the app also crashes when I select the eduroam network of my university (there seems to be several people out there having problems with eduroam too).

The first time I selected eduroam though, I was able to fill in some fields until I selected the CA certificate from the file manager — then it crashed and I haven't been able to get to that screen again.

Thanks for reporting this, Olivier. Was there a crash file? Could you also attach the syslog to this bug?

And where would the crash file be?

There is no difference in `/var/syslog` before and after the crash.

`.xsession-errors` says:
    upstart: application-legacy (ubuntu-system-settings-) main process (6198) killed
     by SEGV signal

P.-S. : how to reproduce: try to connect to an eduroam network. My friend has the same problem with his Ubuntu phone.

I reproduced the crash while monitoring the program with GDB, here's the log.

Wonderful, thanks for adding that. Seems the cert model tries to access
null.

I forgot to mention: the same segfault happens when I select "Connect to hidden network" and when I select a visible eduroam network, both in `QVariant(const QString&)`.
