Bug Description

command: "sudo lshw -short -C memory"
displays: "PCI (sysfs)"
is busy for a few seconds as shown by System Load Indicator
but then the system freezes
and a hardware reset is needed

sudo lshw -html > ~/hardware_info.html && firefox ~/hardware_info.html

causes the same
