Segfault with vlc/ogg plugin

Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox

Tested 3 times - crashes every time. I was listening to 2 (doesn't crash if only 1) files from Wikipedia, in ogg format. Plays fine, but when I close the tab it segfaults.

Just did it again to get the crash file. I'll attach it. I've removed the core dump because its large (24 mb) and because I can't tell what it contains nor do I know what Firefox stores in the memory (passwords?). If you need it let me know.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with latest Ubuntu release?

If this is still a problem, please navigate to the /var/crash folder in nautilus and double click on the corresponding .crash file (if apport doesn't automatically ask you to submit the crash). Passwords should be automatically removed by apport, but if not, do not fear, the bug is private until either you or a trusted member of the community checks to make sure it does not contain any sensitive data.
