"Set as Background" feature fails to work in Xfce4

Bug Description

When using gthumb on an Xfce4 desktop environment and selecting "Set as Background, gthumb claims it has set the wallpaper, but no changes are made.

One way to set the xfce4 wallpaper is:
xfconf-query -c xfce4-desktop -p /backdrop/screen0/monitor0/image-path -s <image-file>
(Single display, not multiple monitors)

Perhaps this command can be added to the set wallpaper command on gthumb so that it will work in the Xfce4 (Xubuntu, etc) desktop environment.
