Bug Description

Ubuntu 15.10, Lubuntu flavor, running LXDE.

To reproduce
1. Start Google Chrome (latest official version, google-chrome-stable 47.0.2526.106-1 ), can contain just a single empty tab
2. Start VLC (regular distribution version, 2.2.1-3, video output set to automatic and other settings are defaults) and load a video.
3. Move cursor over the video position slider.
4. Xorg crash

The bug doesn't happen if I select OpenGL output in VLC, only XVideo output.

This bug does not happen anymore in xenial, having lxde installed
