Bug Description

The live system boots only rarely, and gives the following kernel panic most of the time:
[drm] failed to retreive link info, disabling eDP
[drm] initialised i915 1.60 20150731 for 0000:00:002.0 on minor 1
Kernel panic - not syncing: Timeout: Not all CPUs entered broadcast exception handler
Shutting down cpus with NMI

The installed system appears to kernel panic all of the time, except when using advanced -> upstart in grub. Please let me know what additional information you need to resolve this.
