Bug Description

Anonymous report https://sourceforge.net/p/stellarium/discussion/278769/thread/1654caf4/#4c36

dear All,

maybe no one is still reading here, but I try

what I see, indipendently from Zodiac, Astronomy and Astrology, is that crossing some specific date (i.e. from 1500/2/28 to 1500/2/29), the planetarium "jumps" as it were moved across a different period of time (not only a second after the midnight) but I cannot estimate how long.

I found also in other dates this kind of jumps. Does anyone noticed that? Is a known matter? If yes please excuse my ignorance :)

====

The dates are apparently all (?) February 29 in century leap years in the Julian calendar, if the year would be a common year in the Gregorian calendar (1300, 1100, ...), while 1200, 800, ... is ok.

If this makes a difference: Observed in system's Central European Time.

Huh, this is very odd.

I am in time zone UTC+1, Win7, Qt5.6.

On version 0.14.80:

When we go through the days with the mouse wheel in the date panel, I can reproduce the issue. Set time to 1500-02-20 22:00 and click (or wheel through to early March). Instead of the 4-minute-per-day shift, on Feb.29 there is a ~15degree (hour) jump, which jumps back into the previous sequence on March 1. This means at least Julian leap year 1500 is wrong. However, I cannot reproduce this when going through the minutes!

Testing now with trunk 8386, it seems this has been fixed meanwhile! Did you update the time panel?
