Bug Description

When I try to print with the Brother MFC9840CDW postscript driver I just get the following output:

%!PS-Adobe-3.0
                              %Produced by poppler pdftops version: 0.39.0 (http://poppler.fre

using ups-filters-1.5.0-2 foomatic-db-3:20151108-1 foomatic-db-engine-3:20151108-1 foomatic-db-nonfree-3:20151108-1 / Arch Linux.
All other drivers for the Brother MFC9840CDW are currently broken so please help!

I assume you mean cups-filters 1.5.0-2. That version was never released in Ubuntu. You seem to be using Arch Linux. This is an Ubuntu bugtracker. You should report this bug (if it is still occurring) at https://bugs.archlinux.org/
