Blank screen at boot/shutdown time

the progress bar doesn't show at boot time, when services start, and neither when shutdown the computer

Are you using framebuffer?, could you please check if you have something like "vga=791" in your /boot/grub/menu.lst

please try to write in english, since most of the people checking this reports doesn't understand spanish, if you don't know english well enough, write the best you can in english, and also your description in spanish.
