Hi,

using the "old" release is breaking the build of dpdk on xenial when using infiniband enabled adapters,
eg. modern mellanox cards.

An update would be highly appreciated.

Thanks,
Tom

Hi,
just as FYI I ran into the same DPDK MLX drivers need more recent MLX libs issue.
Older Upstream discussion is there http://dpdk.org/ml/archives/dev/2015-November/027781.html

The same applies to Debian for this and several similar bugs I've found regarding updates to mlx related packages.

Tom if you are still around you might help me confirm an assumption.

Was it enough to move to the latest official upstream OFED libibverbs or were you packaging the MLNX_OFED based libibverbs?

I guess the second seeing your version being "mlnx1-OFED.3.2.1.5.0.32200".
The official 1.2.0 as of Feb 2016 doesn't work for me, and I'm not sure even the recently released 1.2.1 would.

FYI Merging latest for new Dev release as usual.
Since there was no further feedback on these issues with 16.04 and given that MLX DPDK build is a known PITA wit hits dependency to MLX instead of openfabrics libibverbs setting this to incomplete now to have a chance to time out.
