[gutsy (mozilla ppa?)] firefox crashes on startup - Pango-WARNING **: failed to create cairo scaled font, expect ugly output. the offending font is 'Times 12'

Bug Description

After the update to Gutsy firefox crashes directly on startup - also using a fresh profile. I have used the mozilla-team ppa on feisty, though. Please see gdb output for further info.

firefox still crashes after the removal of msttcorefonts. new debug log attached.

Arial was still left over in some directory from msttcorefonts. So, this is an issue with ff and msttcorefonts. Without it, firefox works now.

For me the problem is because for some reason( bug may be ) firefox is tried to open ttf file for read/write so if you do something like this:
$ sudo chmod -R go+rw /usr/share/fonts/truetype/*
Your firefox will work again.
