Bug Description

There is no yakuake package which could be installed in new Ubuntu Xenial. There is a port which could be compiled from this source: git://anongit.kde.org/yakuake.git#branch=frameworks

I've already recompiled yakuake package from this source and it works. Here is a screenshot.

Thanks for taking your time to report this issue and help making Ubuntu better.

I was unable to reproduce this issue since I could install and run yakuake without issues on my Xenial vm. Did you get any error messages when attempting to install it intially? Since Xenial is the development version, packages are frequently updated so some of the dependencies might have been out of sync for a while, causing the package to be uninstallable. Do you still experience this problem?

Yep. I was able to install yakuake directly from the repo. But it looks like it uses qt4 libs, but not new qt5 ones. By the way previous yakuake installation attempt was failed becasue of some qt4 libs dependencies.

Here is the screenshot I have right now.

We typically just sync yakuake from debian currently, and they also just ship the qt4 version. So unless someone from the community packages the qt5 port we'll stick to what we have.

Well, I already told you that I was able to package qt5 version. Just use frameworks branch from the git://anongit.kde.org/yakuake.git repo and dpkg-buildpackage will compile and pack it. I'll upload this archive soon.
