Bug Description
Binary package hint: lyx
In Gutsy's latest LyX, as well as in the more recent version 1.5.2, it is impossible to edit any math in cells of a table that extend off the screen to the right, ie a table which is wider than the screen.
When in such a cell, moving the cursor over to normal text in the cell scrolls the view of the table over so that the cell can be seen. However, as soon as any math is entered by cursor, the view jumps back to the left end of the table, making the math one is trying to edit invisible (off the screen to the right)!!
Appropriate behaviour would be to keep the cell in view when math is edited.
An example is attached next. Try editing text in a cell on the right.

Attached is a LyX 1.5.2 file. Try editing the cells to the right in the table. Edit the math.
When you do that, you will lose sight of what you're editing, at least if you're on a viewer as small as mine, which is 1024 pixels wide.
