Bug Description

I have 3 screens including the laptop screen. The one connected to the displayport is going in to power save mode and back in random intervalls. The other screens don't care if the displayport one is going back and forth to power save mode like it does when you unplug the displayport cable.

This started last week. I run the software updater last week.

I have seen old workarounds that say you should press ctr + alt + F6 but it does not fix the problem.

Turning of the hdmi screen in displays does not fix the problem.

Unplugging hdmi screen does not fix the problem

Unplugging and Plugin the displayport does not fix the problem.

The short time the displayport screen is on it flickers and there is some static noise in a few pixels.

I will attach more information if you request it.

2) No improvement. The screen is black. After i installed 3.19.0-56-generic it worked a while but started after som days flickering on and off in to power save mode. I can't have larger resolution then 1280x800 on that screen that is attached with mini-displayport.

Mikael Svensson, to see if this is already resolved, could you please test http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/ and advise to the results?
