"change Desktop-Background" should be "Appearance"

when right clicking on desktop Background in gutsy the menu still says:
"change Desktop-Background" but now it not only changes the background.
Therefore a naming like "Appearance" would be more appropriate

Thanks for your report, however I disagree. When you right-click your desktop you want - most likely - to change the background. The fact that this is now integrated in the Appearance window is not relevant, you are taken to the Background tab immediately.

Background is a component of Appearance.

and we still can jump directly to the background tab. I think Appearance is better because you are not limitted to background change in there.

but that´s only my POV. If you don´t consider to change that feel free to close this bug.

PS. It´s obvious to me that (with all freezes behind us) we will not change that for gutsy.

Wrote a bunch of rants and raves in the duplicate of this "duplicate" (duplicate of what?). tl;dr is basically that appearance is not a misleading word for what a user is trying to do when looking to change the background; I'm not against the wallpapers showing up first, that is most likely what non-power users are browsing for, and were that the first tab instead of themes we wouldn't even be having this discussion; I personally use the right click way of getting into appearances for all of its uses, rather than the preferences entry; even windows, which is so much less configurable, has used "personalize" as its word of choice since at least vista, and they're not nearly as configurable as we are.

Whew.

So that's my two cents on the issue. questions/comments/admonishment?
