Bug Description
Hello,
there seems to be a bug in the version 9.16 of ghostscript which prevents using ghostscript with pdfs created by some canon scanners which only consist of large images.
I wrongly associated this error with the following bug https:/
http://
With version 9.18 from http://
The bug occurs when attempting to minimize the file size of such a pdf and the following error message is shown: (an example pdf is attached to this post)
$ gs -dNOPAUSE -dBATCH -sDEVICE=pdfwrite -dCompatibility

Do you mean that this bug is fixed in GS 9.18 via
http:// git.ghostscript .com/?p= ghostpdl. git;a=commitdif f;h=668406a5
and you like to have an SRU for Wily with this patch backported into Wily's GS 9.16?
