Bug Description

realplay installation wiki page >>

2. You may also need to edit the /etc/esound/esd.conf file, and change
auto_spawn=0 to auto_spawn=1. This allows Realplayer, an app written to use OSS,
to work with the way that some hardware handles esd. This doesn't appear to be
necessary for everyone, but if Realplayer doesn't work after you install it,
give it a try. (Keith Bassett)

-----------------------------------------

It seems after you disabled the System -> Sound Preference -> enable sound
server startup

Realplay finally able to start smoothly.
I maybe able to start the realplay after the edit but without disabling the
sound in the sound preference the realplay does not seems to work at all. So
after i run realplay (with auto_spawn=1 & enable sound server startup),
realplayer appears (finally).
When i tried to play a saved file the realplay stay hanging... until i set
enable sound server startup to off
