sometimes it crashes unexpectedly when i move the red slider or press a button. It just closes

Bug Description
So I'm editing a video right? and then I move the red slider. And then, before I know it, it's closed.same thing happens with pause/play button.I press it, it loads, then closes. I use Linux mint.
