Bug Description

Hi i am using Elementary OS Freya 0.3.2 32bit clean install. i am using my gmail account with geary i had to turn on support for 3rd party apps in my google account settings for geary to work with my gmail account. Anyways my problem is if i select a email and choose the trash can icon to delete the email geary does it then crashes then when i restart geary it has not deleted my email, I also tried shift + delete this is also does not work geary crashes the app vanishes and i have to re open geary and it still has not deleted my email. any help in fixing this would be appreciated.

Is the issue still happening?

If yes, please run:
  killall pantheon-mail
  pantheon-mail --debug

This should start Mail in debug mode. Then put the log in a text file and attach it to this thread.

I am experiencing this problem as well, for a week or 2 now. Just got fed up with it and finally took the time to search for an existing bug report.
Geary crashes when trying to delete emails, mostly when deleting previously unread mail. After restarting the mails are not deleted.
The output of "dmesg | grep geary" after the crashes and the "geary --debug" output are attached in the file.

Thanks for taking the time to report this.
Mail in loki is crashing as well. It looks like a bug in WebKitGTK+ 2.4.10. This is package libwebkitgtk-3.0-0.
The bug report for WebKitGTK+ can be found here: https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=155694

The WebKitGTK+ team has fixed the issue with WebKitGTK+ 2.4.11.
Installing this version of WebKitGTK+ does not crash Mail any more when deleting emails. Unfortunately WebKitGTK+ 2.4.11 is not yet packaged for elementary OS or Ubuntu.

When the OP opened this bug report, WebKitGTK+ 2.4.10 wasn't released yet.
