Bug Description
Updating from the beta PPA still fails because of missing dependencies. (using Kubuntu 15.10, Wily Werewolf)
Depends: libprotobuf-lite8 but it is not installable (protobuf9 *is* available)
Depends: librubberband2 but it is not installable (librubberband2v5 is available)
Depends: libtag1c2a (>=1.9.1) but it is not installable (not in repository, libtag1v5 a possible replacement?)
Depends: libvamp-hostsdk3 but it is not installable (libvamp-hostsdk3v5 is available)
Depends: libvamp-sdk2 but it is not installable (libvamp-sdk2v5 is available)
It must be noted that building from git does work but with a tonne of warnings! The end result is however a fully functional build of mixxx, so I know that building under Wily does work. It just needs to be done.

Thanks for the report -- our package in the mixxxbetas PPA is specifically built for Wily so I'm not sure why you're seeing these errors. Plus, we've had some reports specifically from Wily users that it is working.

Can you confirm that the PPA is added for Wily?
In /etc/apt/sources.d/ you should see a mixxxbetas file that has this in it:
deb http:// ppa.launchpad. net/mixxx/ mixxxbetas/ ubuntu wily main
I'm wondering if the line said "trusty" or something instead of "wily" then maybe it wouldn't see the Wily .deb?
