Horizontal touchpad scrolling broken in Gutsy

Binary package hint: xorg-driver-synaptics

Using the Touchpad application or editing xorg.conf does nothing to enable horizontal scrolling on a synaptics touchpad in Gutsy. It worked fine in Fiesty.
