Bug Description
Binary package hint: totem
After upgrading from 7.04 to 7.10 release candidate, the video contrast setting was changed to 0. Videos played in Totem, totem in firefox, and VLC were all red and blurry. Going into the preferences of Totem and pressing "Reset to defaults" restores the contrast to 50%.

Thank you for your bug. That looks like a video driver issue. What videocard and driver do you use?
