Bug Description

Upon booting the Gutsy LiveCD (First Release Candidate) xorg starts up fine however the monitor instantly enters standby mode (the LEDs turns orange, but you can see the desktop for a second).

CTRL+ALT+F1 then ALT+F7 will fix it

Monitor: Dell 2405FPW
GFX: nVidia GeForce 7600GT (using the default nv drivers)

Just a though that its probably not a xorg-server problem if the screen is appearing for a few seconds

.xsession-errors has: "/etc/X11/Xsession.d/40guidance-displayconfig_restore: 11: /usr/bin/displayconfig-restore: not found"
