Bug Description

A user has used the jigdo-lite to download the new release candidate of gutsy gibbon 7.10
They used jigdo-lite and a daily build as a source for some files, then he was asked to download 78 files. Only 37 couldn't de downloaded.
A log file is here:
http://paste.ubuntu-nl.org/40350/

We tried several archive mirrors for jigdo:
http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/
http://uk.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/
http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/
http://in.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/
..no luck.

The problem is that the archive mirrors return 404 Error when the files are being downloaded

jigdo - GTK+ download manager (beta version)
jigdo-file - Download Debian CD images from any Debian mirror
gnomefreak@Gutsy:~$ sudo apt-get install jigdo-lite

Sorry, there's not much to be done about this; the archive has simply moved on since the release candidate was built. It's not possible to fix this without extra archive features (and significant resources) to expose snapshot archives corresponding to when the CDs were built. Until then, pre-release jigdos will always break sooner or later. The final release jigdos will be fine.

John, the package is jigdo-file, not jigdo-lite.

@john

i use the following workaround. when jigdo got all the files that are still available i rename the .iso.tmp to .iso and i download the .torrent.
then i start btdownloadcurses.bittornado ubuntu-xxx.torrent and bittornado will fetch the remaining blocks (usually 5 to 10 percent) by bittorrent.
