400 euros - Is usb connection possible ?

Hi,
I've got a meizu ubuntu mx4 phone, original usb connection is impossible, whatever windows PC i use, is the usb connection is only available for ubuntu users ? Even my mp3 is connecting on usb, and it didnt cost 400 euros.
So i'am happy to support open source, i enjoy supporting the community for a better world, but too much is too much, after the impossibility to recover sim contacts, after the impossibility to send mms, now the impossibility to recover fils from the phone with the original usb cable ...

That's the end of the day for me...let's go to bed.

Ah, also impossible to watch mp3 video on the phone using the media player its just pausing all the time. I forgotten this one too!!!!!!

Thank you for your bug report. The usb connection should work under windows, could you give details on what you are trying to do and is not working?

First i appologize for my message, i was quite angry yesterday :-(

So what i am trying to do is : simply get a video and photos taken with may meizy mx4 phone to a windows PC, the esiest way is for me to use the usb wire delivered with the phone.

But :
1- the phone is not recognized at all by the computer (at home -vista 32- and at work - windows 7 pro), i cannot acces the phone (even with the developper mode enabled or not, even keeping the screen unlocked and no passphrase/code enabled)
I assume it is not really a ubuntu problem, but i'd like to be sure of that assumption (USB\VID_2A45&PID_2008&REV_????
 )
There are Plenty of such messages on lots of forum and i beleive ubuntu should take this problem into account, and try (with meizu) to deliver a better solution to consumers

2- the video taken with the phone is not readable with the original media player ubuntu 15.04 (r6) last update 19/10/2015 (ubuntu 15.04 - armhf 20151015-214614 ) ARALE_MEIZU

i have same problem. developer mode and unlocked screen not helping. i'm unable to access my phone using usb at all. i want copy my pictures! phone is not recognised by all my computers: windows 10, ubuntu 16.04. Error code that i can see while trying to connect:

Ubuntu 16.04: Unable to mount 2a45 2008
              Unable to connect to device MTP ,,[usb:001,011]"

Windows 10 gives no code. Just saying that can not recognise the device and try again... try again...

I started to have problems with usb after some patch (summer or spring patch), before was ok. after this summer 2016 i i'm unable to get my photos!
