Bug Description
Seems to be from recent gtk3 upgrades which have affected sidebar in several ways.
Test case:
Open nautilus to any directory
Grab a file with cursor, bring over to sidebar & hover over a directory such as Documents
What happens: nothing
What should happen: the main nautilus window should switch to directory hovered over after a bit less than a sec. of hover time
(the sidebar also was affected by newer gtk in -
context menu on sidebar items is now the gnome cartoon bubble style
mounted volumes are indicated with a button instead of just an icon

Thanks, indeed it's a GTK change. I can't find the commit but I wouldn't be surprise if it was a design decision/related to https:/ /git.gnome. org/browse/ nautilus/ commit/ ?id=ec2b9674b00 25bcd8cd3024613 5962d5a77d9685
The tooltip indeed look weird, that might be worth another bug report, the icon is buggy for sure and probably require a theme change similar to https:/ /bugzilla. gnome.org/ show_bug. cgi?id= 755268 ... could you report that in a new ticket?
