Viktor Pal, thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu better.

Could you please advise if there are crash files in /var/crash?

Hi. Forgot to mention in the original report, but there was no crash file for xorg in /var/crash after the crash.

Viktor Pal, to see if this already resolved in Ubuntu, could you please test http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/ and advise to the results?

Christopher, I'm unfortunately not able to test the unstable image as this is my work computer and I need to have a stable release running on it.
The other problem is that I can't reproduce the bug as it just happened, so installing the daily image and running it for whatever time without this happening would also not mean that this bug does not exist in that version.
