missing resize option

Bug Description

Binary package hint: debian-installer

The Kubuntu alternate i386 installer does not have the auto-resize option at the partitioning step.

That may have been done on purpose; there is always the manual option. If so the test case should be adjusted.

It turns out that it depends on what was on the disk before; whether it can be resized (crypted LVM cannot?). Trying on a different disk worked fine.

Same Bug. I was not presented with an option to resize the drive, both in a VirtualBox Install, and Native Bare Drive Install.
