Global Menus for Pycharm do not work when more than one window is open, except for the most recently opened one

Bug Description

This is on Ubuntu Wily, jayatana 2.7-0ubuntu4, and Pycharm 5.0

Having a single Pycharm window with a project open, selecting File>Open Project... gives the option to open another project in a new window. Upon selecting that option, a second window spawns, with its own global menu functioning. However, on the first window, the one originally open, the menu items are displayed but are not responsive to clicks.

Expected behavior: The global menus should be functional on all open windows of the same program
What happened instead: The global menus work only in the most recently open window

Affects RubyMine too, in 15.10 and 14.04.

Additionaly, after I close the second window, the former global menu continues to NOT work.

So, I have to close and re-open the application to get the global menu.
